Don’t you hate when the vision in your head looks a little less wonderful and a little more wobbly when it’s finally down on paper? I do.
As often as we plan, and plot, and rehearse, sometimes, imperfections rule our writing, and no matter how carefully we edit, those flaws remain.
Well, just in case you weren’t aware, almost every writer feels this at varying points in his or her work. Sometimes even from the very beginning to the very end. Some of the work I’ve felt was deeply flawed, almost irreparable, was the work that seemed to resonate the most with others.
What do you do when you can’t seem to correct the flaws in your work? How do you deal with the words that just won’t come out right? Tell me in the comments!
